Applicable to levels 5 & 7: Together with your cohort of other people-focused and passionate Procurement & Supply Chain professionals, you will bring your coaching skills to life by practising in small groups and building a collaborative network. Our level 3 programme is a self-guided qualification. 

Once you begin your coaching practice outside of the live training sessions, you will be supported with coaching supervision sessions to help you to embed your coaching practice and support you in your professional growth as a coach. 

Once you have completed the online modules & live sessions, you will be granted access to bonus training modules and exercises that will help you and your team to embed these coaching skills into your everyday Procurement conversations with your stakeholders. These skills will help you to drive a collaborative culture and partnership with your stakeholders.

From the moment that you register on your course, and throughout the training and assessment to become a qualified coach, you will be supported every step of the way in your learning journey by your assigned personal tutor.

Included in your qualification investment is your membership to the Institute of Leadership for 6 months.

We have personalised the course to Procurement & Supply Chain professionals so that they can learn from each other and create a collaborative environment for the benefit of the profession. However, our course is suitable for anyone who works as a business partner within their organisation and wants to develop their coaching skills. 

For Procurement to make a real impact and influence business outcomes, there needs to be a solid understanding of how to lead others and understand how to support them in a collaborative way. Learning to coach will help you to understand yourself and your own leadership style, support others to achieve their goals and use these skills to understand and influence your stakeholders in a collaborative way. 

This course is designed for professionals who wish to develop their leadership skills with a coaching approach, coach on a 1:1 basis and drive a coaching culture within their team and organisation. It is also for consultants who want to incorporate coaching into their service offering. You can also take this course if you want to become a full-time coach. Regardless of how you choose to use the training, we offer in-depth training so that you can gain a deeper understanding of coaching and building collaborative relationships.

If you are passionate about helping and supporting others, personal development and making a difference, then that's a great start! To get the most out of the course, we ask that you come with an open mind and willingness to engage in the sessions as you will be practising your coaching skills with each other. 

No. This course will teach you how to be a great coach by offering you an in-depth toolkit of coaching models and techniques. We will teach you how to develop coaching skills to coach on a 1:1 basis, which will also unlock the skills to build exceptional stakeholder engagement, develop your team and offer coaching as a service (either in-house or externally). This course will enable you to be more adaptable in your Procurement approach and unlock your full potential as a Procurement & Supply Chain professional.

This will differ depending on the level of qualification that you choose (click on the relevant course link below). If you opt for level 5 or 7, the live sessions are scheduled to give you an experience of learning together within a group setting followed by an opportunity to integrate your skills into your work before the next live session takes place. Once you have attended all of the live sessions, you will then carry out your coaching practice and assignments at your own pace. You can expect to complete the whole qualification in 12-18 months. If you opt for the self-guided programme (level 3), you can expect to complete it withing 6-9 months. 

Unlike some other qualifications you may be familiar with, you are not required to complete all levels. You can select the level of qualification that is appropriate for your experience, without the previous level being a prerequisite. We recommend Level 5 for those who are working at a middle-management level and level 7 is more appropriate for those working at a senior management/leadership level. You will have access to all the course materials for 3 years from the date of your ILM registration. You will also gain membership to the Institute of Leadership for 6 months (this is included in your investment). You can complete the assignments at your own pace (although please be aware of the turnaround times for marking - your course trainer can offer you more information). 

Each level of qualification has 3 assignments, which you can complete at your own pace as you develop your coaching practice. Assignment 1 is based on the theory and application of coaching skills within an organisation. Once you have completed your coaching practice hours, assignment 2 will be your coaching diary. Assignment 3 is a reflective essay on your development as a coach. You will find more guidance on these assignments in the learning portal and you will also get plenty of support from your tutor.
